How it works

  1. Install from Shopify and connect a dedicated Mailstep API user. A separate user means a staff password change can never break monitoring. The password is stored encrypted.
  2. Pick the date to start from and who gets alerts. Mark cash-on-delivery methods and an ignore tag for orders that should not go to the warehouse.
  3. DockGuard checks every 15 minutes. One email per run, grouped by problem, with the order, its age, the Mailstep status and what to do next.
  4. Fix from the app. Add the missing tracking number to Shopify in one click, re-send an order to the warehouse, or jump straight to the expedition in Mailstep.

DockGuard reads by default. Anything that changes Shopify or Mailstep happens only when you click, after DockGuard re-checks the order, and every change is logged.
